Web is a system of interlinked hypertext documents accessed via the Internet. With a Web browser, one can view Web pages that may contain text, images, videos, and other multimedia and navigate between them using hyperlinks. The Web's historic logo designed by Robert Cailliau. Tim Berners-Lee, is the Director of the World Wide Web Consortium, Next Computer used by Sir Tim Berners-Lee at CERN became the first Web server.
Access to the Web is for everyone regardless of disability including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological. The Web is used for receiving information as well as providing information and interacting with society.
Web Based Technology is a broader concept refers to the procedures designed to equip the learners with the Technological knowledge, techniques, skills, Applications, creating, acessing and loging to the global system of interconnected computer networks.
